Bay Lakes Model

1999

The Bay Lakes Model was designed for Jim Morris and Sons in 1999 for a new sub-division in Palm Bay, Florida. Jim Morris and Sons wanted the model to have a "bonus room" with a grand view of the golf course. After considering a few preliminary designs with a more traditional attic truss bonus room, this design was adopted with the bonus room over the living area and tucked under the roofline. The model is designed as a pool home with sliding glass door opening out onto the pool deck, and a pool bath as part of bedroom #3's suite. Another feature with the golf community in mind is the golf cart parking with its own door in the garage.

The Bay Lakes Model was designed to stand up to Florida's hurricanes by utilizing Southeast Walls' EPS foam block construction.
