Design and Drafting Services

As a designer/draftsman I contract design projects that include single family residential, multifamily residential, townhomes, residential additions, light commercial projects, and engineering technician services in the wood truss industry. In conjunction with architects and engineers I have drawn and designed large commercial projects and high-rise condominiums. I have worked with many builders to create dozens of custom homes and award winning models. I have been the main designer or on the design team of five sub-division projects.

I take great pleasure from creating a design that meets the clients wants and needs, and fits the demands of the lot, location and the enviroment. Residential additions are a part of my work that brings me special satisfaction. From a small porch addition to turning a modest home into a spectacular estate, I am proud of my addition and renovation work.

Design responsibilities included customer relations, creating original design concepts, knowledge of construction techniques, preliminary design of roof and floor systems, drawing construction documents including structural details, presentation of construction documents to the Engineer of Record, and interfacing with local building authorities.
