The site called for, and with a little persuasian, the client agreed to a break form that traditional design to include a southern style veranda to the riverside. The third floor bedrooms were not a part of the original design. However, their addition allowed for the suggestion and design of a new attic truss type utilizing an open web truss section in place of a lumber bottom chord.
